Is Kovered free to use?
Yes — posting tasks and creating an account is free. We take a small service fee on completed tasks to keep the platform running and fund safety reviews.
How does identity verification work?
We use Stripe Identity, which captures a government ID photo and a live selfie. The system verifies they match before granting your blue check. Real faces only — no bots, no AI deepfakes, no scammers.
Who can become a helper?
Anyone 18+ who completes identity verification and the helper application. Our team reviews every application by hand — no auto-approvals.
What if a helper doesn't show up?
Your card is never charged until you approve the task as complete. If a helper no-shows, you get a full release back to your card with one tap.
